 Current Opening: Customer Service Representative

 Saratoga Horseworks, a leading manufacturer of custom, American-made horse clothing and accessories, and it’s contract manufacturing division, Custom Sewn Products,  is seeking a detail-oriented customer service  person to join their team.  Located in Amsterdam, NY Saratoga Horseworks is an easy commute from Saratoga Springs and the Albany Area. Our compensation package includes competitive salary, health insurance, retirement plan, continuing education reimbursement, and paid vacation and holidays.

 Responsibilities

  • Taking orders from dealers,  retail customers, and contract customers and entering them into the Sales Orders program
  • Answer customer questions, and recommend solutions
  • Interface with marketing group and execute campaigns
  • Manage the Equestrians at Large and Ambassadors sponsored rider programs
  • Manage the SHW and CSP websites including; creating pages, editing information to assure it remains current, adding new content pages, writing blog posts, and track traffic
  • Administrate promotional email campaigns, schedule promotions, develop email pieces, build and maintain email lists
  • Connect with equine community through social media
  • Manage the Ebay Store retail site including posting new items, tracking sales, assuring prompt shipment of sold items, answering questions
  • Evaluate, recommend, and execute sponsorship opportunities
  • Office Administration functions such as filing, answering telephones, responding to company correspondence, etc

 Qualifications

  • Some college level course work in marketing, communications, or business
  • Two years of experience in sales preferably in the equine industry
  • Applicants must be confident, well spoken, motivated, and career minded
  • MUST be an active equestrian in any English discipline who is showing, training, or otherwise participating in regular equine events
  • Must be well versed in current use of social media for brand building and sales lead generation
  • Proficient  in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Above average office organizational skills
