SUNY Cobleskill Students Visit SHW!
Visiting Instructor at SUNY Cobleskill Nicole Tommell and her class of 25 Ag. Business students visited us this week to learn about our facility. The students received a tour of SHW and saw the process of manufacturing horse clothing and other products. While on the tour students watched our state-of-the-art Eastman Cutting machine as it flew through a riding blanket pattern in a matter of seconds. Students also saw the process from raw materials to finished products as well seeing some of our contract customers products in the works.
We hoped that the students enjoyed their tour of our factory and became aware of other careers in the Equine and business industries. We hoped to have taught everyone a little about ourselves and SHW and we look forward to seeing Cobleskill students again next year!

Calecto V and his rider Tina Konyot reside in North Stonington, CT and Palm City, FL.
Their most recent accomplishments include winning
the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Dressage Kentucky Cup CDI***,
the FEI Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the 2010 Wellington Classic,
the FEI Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special at the 2010 Palm Beach Dressage Derby and the 2009 Dressage at Devon Grand Prix Freestyle.
Calecto has been the winner of 8 Grand Prixs in 2010 and 7 Consecutive Grand Prixs.
This is a unique opportunity to watch a dressage performance by Calecto V
as well as "meet" Calecto V and Tina
who will spend the summer competing in Europe
in preparation for the upcoming World Equestrian Games.
Tickets are $25.00 per person minimum donation
$10.00 for children under the age of 18
All proceeds from ticket sales will support Calecto V's journey.

Saratoga Horseworks & Fleeceworks design saddle pads for the "Old Guard"
Saratoga Horseworks has partnered up with Fleeceworks to produce the saddle pads for the horses of the "Old Guard" at Ft. Meyers in Arlington.
The saddle pads used are solid black and have black deerskin trim with black twisted cord piping. The pad's are swallowtail shaped, which is the traditional military style (used with McClellan Saddles) for the funerals held at Arlington National Cemetary.
We are truly honored to have made these saddle pads as well as one for the "Riderless Horse" used at Senator Kennedy's funeral.

Saratoga Horsework's Fashion Show at the Centerline Events CDI*** Saturday, August 15th
The fashion show was a success! Thank you to all our participants and to those who came out and braved the heat!

Saratoga Horseworks will be having an equine fashion show on Saturday (8\15) at the HITS showgrounds in Saugerties, NY. We will be showing off some of our garmets around 7:00pm in the Grand Prix arena. If you are in the area come on down and watch as our equine models and their riders strut down the runway (or in this case...the ring)!
