- How do I measure my horse for his new horse clothing?
We recommend using a soft measuring tape measure. Place the tape at the center of your horse's chest. From there measure along his/her body to the center of their tail. This will tell you how long your horse is in inches. If the horse falls in between sizes, purchase the next size up. When ordering riding blankets or quarter sheets order your horses blanket size and we will take care of the rest. Looking to customize a blanket for a 'hard to fit' horse? Feel free to contact our office and we'll work with you to find just the right fit! **Please note that our blankets tend to fit the leaner, finer boned type (i.e. Thoroughbred) very well. We do offer various warmblood type cuts for the larger breeds. Please feel free to contact our office for details. Back to top
- How do I measure my dog for his new dog coat?
Using a soft tape measure, place the tape at the base of the dog's neck. This is the spot where the neck curves and becomes the back. Run the tape from the base, along the spine to the base of the dog's tail (where the tail starts on the body). If the number falls in between sizes, purchase the next size up. (Example: if your dog measures 19", please order a size 20" coat.)Back to top

- Why do some of the sheets have a different syle of leg straps?
We've had several customers ask why we have opted to design many of our turnouts with one surcingle and fixed elastic leg straps. And we're glad you've asked.
Our traditional style turnouts possess a unique surcingle/leg strap system that is more durable. By not positioning the leg straps on the edge of the garment, but more toward the garments center it is more difficult for your horse to tear the garment. There is also less chance of a strap getting caught when it is positioned higher on the garment and remains closer to the horse..
Also, by sewing the leg straps into the body of the garment, we have eliminated the need for additional bulky hardware (d rings and buckles) and the possibility of having a leg strap lost out in the pasture. Back to top
- My horse/dog requires a custom garment, is this possible?
Yes, We offer most our garments in several custom patterns. The most popular for horses is the Warmblood cut, great for those horses that have larger chests/barrels then most. We also offer fully custom garments made to suit your needs.
Dogs also come in many shapes and sizes too- We offer "bulldog" cuts for those breeds with larger necks and wider bodies (great for, Pugs, Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs, APBT's and more!). We can also do a completely custom coat if needed. Contact us for more information on custom options and pricing.Back to top
